Lots of awards floating around at the moment!

Ok so there are a lot of most improved, most unoticed, best nmm, longest beard kinda threads hanging around at the moment.

It gets me thinking that CMON should have some sorta awards ceremony thingy, with different catergories such as

Best Painter
Most Improved
Best sculptor
Best Single Fig
Best Diorama
Best Poster
Wisest Forums Member
Best Avatar
Handsomest Man
Sexiest Woman
Nicest Cheese
etc etc.....

I\'m pretty sure someone will have come up with this idea before but hey I\'m coming up with it again! Whadya think CMONers?!

An interesting idea... How would it be done? I guess some of them could be worked out from ranking and CMON scores (best painter, sculptor, single fig, diorama) but the others would probably have to go to a vote after a period of nomination.

A vote I would imagine. I think CMON is a big enough community for the awards to be considered quite an impressive achievement, if you look at the talent on the site theres a lot up for grabs!

Given the voting system and the many arguements presented over time from it I think you might end up with a cult figure being voted for and not the work being produced.

I suppose one way might be to have a show down of the top artists.

Hmmmm unless people put forward their top piece, and people vote their favourite, not a score, on the forums so it is unrelated to ranking...

how funny would it be, if for like sexiest man and woman, it was like a Ms.America thing, where to get voted on you had to enter pictures of like, ball gown, normal, swimsuit...ect.
