Anyone know of one? I have a dremel that I hava had for years, but I was wondering if there was a tool that has a lower setting or that was just naturally lower. (I break alot of drill bits)
Yep, but it won\'t help if the speed is too high.Originally posted by Thunderhawker
OKies howsabout a hobby sized drill press? Is there sucha thing?
White spirit/mineral spirits will work for this - they\'re technically light oils and they evaporate without leaving a residue, which is useful for glued joints.Originally posted by Evil Dave
Also, when drilling metal it is good to use a cutting fluid, it helps prevent breakage.
It\'s merely a light oil that you use a drop or two of.
A cutting oil is a lubricant as well as a cooling medium but if you are only drilling holes in a mini or any other white metal figures then you are waisting your time with it because soft metals such as pewter, brass etc don\'t need it, if your mini is made of steel on the other hand however...Originally posted by Evil Dave
