And that\'s why I like PCs! I wrote my first program around \'82 (second grade) on my uncle\'s no-memory-but-plug-into-TV computer. That was the coolest thing I\'d seen (not counting spaceships). I love wading into the guts of the software sometime to rip Windows a new one. And watch the ensuing ash cloud that was my OS afterwards.
If any of you have ever read \"Everything I Need to Know I Learned From Watching Star Trek\", you\'ll recognize this paraphrasing: If you make something idiot proof, then you also make it genius proof. And I feel that Macs are too idiot proof.

Okay. I worked cutting and editing movies on both. And with Apple.. well the bugs are just insane! Not that it has got more bugs then PC... just that the bugs defy reason. It\'s like stuff that shouldn\'t be connected the least are. It\'s a lot, like in the video, about tricking the Mac into doing what you want.. but there\'s absolutely no logic to it. You have to like play itunes while tapdancing to get the videocodec to work!
And often you can\'t do anything about the bugs! When I\'m stuck with PC I have some numbers to call and if I can\'t fix it myself they in 99% of the cases someone I know can. Or I\'ll just use another software. With the issues Mac I called at least a dozen people and no-one knew what to do... because you can\'t do anything!!

And that leads us to the lack of software... GOD!! I actually had to take the entire sound of the movie back to my home-pc to make all the adjustments I wanted using a freeware program. Was there a software to Mac that could do the same? Yes.. but it costed about a GAZILLION dollars!
