Hi all....
Ok, so here\'s a few slightly better pics of the Macharius Vanquisher which I entered in GDUK this year (having had it fail to get judged in GD Spain)... this model represents about 190 - 200hrs total work now including the 15 - 20hrs of tweaking in-between the two competitions.
As explained on the submission, she has over 70 custom designed brass-etch detail components on her including the catch net on the back of the turret, the RF shield, the vents, the tread-plates and loads of other bits. The barrels on the heavy stubbers on the front turret are turned brass, the twisted metal wreckage in the fore-ground is also brass-etch.
Here\'s the pics:

I have to say a big thanks to Adie and Nigel and everyone else who gave me tips and ideas on how to tweak this model before GDUK, and to the rest of Team Harrow for carrying on telling me that this WAS a good model and that I SHOULD re-enter it after the dissapointment of Spain.
As always... comments and constructive criticism glady recieved.
Cheers all!!!!
Ben
