Magic Wash or Glaze medium?

Hey guys, i need someone\'s expertise with a problem i\'ve got!
I\'ve got a nice batch of magic wash that i usually use for all my washes (great for pulling the ink/paint into the recesses) but i\'m thinking about trying out Vallejo glaze medium as an alternative because it apparently dries matt whereas the magic wash doesn\'t.
So basically is it any good for washes/shading? I know Tammy used it in her Ultramarine paintathalon article to do the initial shading but i\'ve heard some bad things about it and was wondering if anybody\'s had any experience with it?
Cheers guys if you can help me out that would be great.:D

It does help your ink to dry matt, but if you\'re going to varnish this is not really an issue. I use a drop in my highlights as I find that it helps prevent drying and stays wet on the mini a little longer so you can push it around a little more.

cheers for the input, i think i\'ll give it a go since i want to try wet-blending on my minis, it seems to be the \'next level\' in painting.

I think its great stuff and have been using it a lot recently.

A word of warning though, in large amounts it \"melts\" the paint below it. This isn\'t a problem unless you accidently touch the paint like I did in which case you leave finger prints in the paint or worse rub a chunk off. I find holding the mini under a lamp to dry it between layers/washes stops this problem.
