Evening guys, am just wondering if their any puttys that are lined with metals or have magnetic properties. Iv seen such putty smeared into the underside of bases then used to attach the mini to magentic show base and am just wondering if anyone knows anythin about them ???

Cheers

Why not just glue some rare earth magnets or some regular magnets to the bottom of the bases?

You can get either cheaply. K&J Magnetics is a good online shop for rare earth magnets, there are others, do a search, and you can get packs of magnets and strips of semi flexible magnet pads that can be cut from dollar stores and craft/hobby stores, train shops, etc. Either option is probably cheaper and easier than any magnetic putty.

OR...you could use washers, from the hardware store, glued under the bases, then line the storage container or display base with magnetic strips from the craft shop.

i do use rare earth magnets on a regular basis, but the advantage with putty is u can use it arkward places, such as wraithlord shoulder mounts....

In that case, I just use a drill. Drill a couple of holes about 1mm deep. Then I insert the 1mmx1mm Rare Earth Magnets. It\'s never failed me yet. It holds shields, kegs, and anything else you can imagine with hardly any problem.
