Magnetizing for newbies

Not exactly sure what you\'re magnetizing, but generally for minis and such, the best are known as \"Rare Earth\" magnets. Neodymium or some such.

Hi Miffmoff I do a lot of commissions with magnets.As Jester said your best bet is using rare earth magnets lots of sellers on eBay.
The sizes I use most are 3mm and 6 mm.
Dreadnought arms I would use 2 3mm magnets on each arm.
On a turret I use 6mm on the turret/hatch and them use some Magnetic Tape 20mm wide to stick the turret/gun onto the top of the tank.
The tape is easy to cut and shape though I\'ve only used it on rhinos but it should work for any of the New Games Workshop tanks.
I\'m doing another rhino sometime over the next few days if I do not forget I\'ll take some pics of how I do the turrets and post them in the thread for you.
