Magnifying lenses for camera

Never tried it, but it would be fun to take the tabletop magnifying lens I use for painting and try to take a picture of the magnified image of the mini in the lens. I suspect that would result in a fair amount of distortion, though.

if they match the threads on the front of your lens, give them a try.

I had an old canon camera that had similar lenses that threaded over the main lens. One for zoom and one for wide angle. I never tried it for macro work, but it worked fine for landscapes.

If you have a camera with threads on the lens look for diapters or close up filters. These will let you get closer to the piece and still focus in on it. The Problem you will have with doing this is that the depth of field is greatly decreased also.
