First of all, we start to choose a base colour, for example Regal Blue.
Water it pretty much till is 80/20 water/colour.
Pass it on all the blade
Now, when the colour is still liquid, choose a final colour, for example Skull White, water down it a little and pass it roughly on the edge of the blade. Let rest a second the mixing and see how the colours combine themselves
now take a small amount of almost unwatered Skull White and make small dots on the very edge, mixing the borders of the dots with circular movements...
Let the colours dry... tadaaan
