Been wanting to make some tools for sculpting to do finishing smoothing with. What I was thinking of doing was making some simple shapes like a wedge, a flat \'blade\' and round end tips of different widths etc.... I would put a piece of wire or a toothpick in the middle and whatever material over that, wanting to have a squishy, ultra smooth surface on each one.
Do you think something like silicon caulking or some similar thing - gasket goop - would work? Do these or any others cure real smooth, flexible and RETAIN their flexibility?
