Help all! Anyone got a way to do the eyes on male miniatures?

Kull the barbarian is what I\'m after, not Kullyana!

Cheers!

Don\'t paint on Eyeshadow. lol

Basically there is no real difference between painting Male or Female eyes on a miniature.
The principal remains the same all you need to is make sure that if you do intend to darken the eye sockets that you just use deeper tones of the basic skin colour.

As Dragonsreach said, no real difference, an eye\'s an eye.

Scale certainly plays a part here, but a basic method is:
paint eye area white/light colour;
paint black iris shapes (expanding from a dot seems to work well, rather than trying to paint a circle right at the start);
aim to have the top 1/3 of the circle covered by the top lid, roughly speaking (helps to prevent a staring effect);
paint a dark blue (brown, grey, whatever) inside the black circle, leaving a thin black edge;
paint a middle blue in the bottom section only;
paint a light blue in the centre, immediately under where the pupil\'s edge will be;
dot in the pupils with pure black (if you can paint that small).

A little like the illustration in post #3 in this thread of pF.

Minis have eyes that are so small though that often just a dot of colour on the white is all that\'s needed!

Paint the line around the eye lighter with a male than with a female to avoid an eyeliner look. If it comes out too dark you can go in later with thinned down basic skin colour and glaze over the line to lighten it.

Don\'t paint the black dot at the center of the eye... or else it will become like Dragonsreach said \"staring eye\"

Go for a semi-dot from top lid.

If you watch manga Dragon Ball, that\'s the eye style.
