Mall doors

Hi all. Can zombies move through mall doors if there is no other path like standard doors? I ask this as I was playing TCM M02 and there is a Toxic Abomination, 2 Toxic Fatties and 4 Toxic Walkers set up in the mall and was not sure if they started moving from zombie turn 1. There is also a bleu key locked door, can they move though that as well?

They cannot move through either type of door unless it's open. You must be prepared to deal with the mob that gathers.

Thanks for that, I thought this was the case but I couldn't find any reference to it in the rules or faq!

Search didn't come up with anything but I'd like to tack on an extra question to this thread. Do mall doors and mall double doors open the same way as normal doors? Any other special interaction with them? I cant find it in the rules so I'd like to confirm.

Mall doors work exactly like normal doors. The only consideration is that if you have two adjacent mall doors leading into a mall hallway then players can open both doors (2 actions) to allow vehicles to enter the mall hallways. I don't think I have played a mission yet that allowed me to do so, but it was covered in the rules.
