This thread will separate the young\'ns from us ol duffers.

So I\'m wandering through a local store.....normal, average store, nothing weird, Harbor Freight Tool\'s. The music playing over the PA in the store is White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane.lol Who woulda\' thunk it back in the 60\'s that what was the epitome of counterculture, anti-establishment, anti-corporate, anti-whatever is now background music in a white bread tool store. I\'ve heard the Grateful Dead and Deep Purple in the supermarket!...............how things change....

Hehehe... you haven\'t heard anything until you\'ve heard AC/DC in an elevator redone in \"elevator music\" style. You know, that tinny sounding synthesizer music. I nearly wet my pants laughing so hard.

I have also noticed that the albums I grew up with are now the ones in the \'bargain bins\' in places like Wallmart and HMV. It\'s just so strange, those bins used to be filled with icky old fart music.

@Torn blue sky - No, not at all. It\'s how the generation that spawned the eternal youth thing is now, as Shadzar said, sporting dentures, gray hair and various other \"aging appendages.\"

Also the same generation had a saying - \'never trust anyone over 30.\' Well, most are now double that age.

Unfortuneatly, getting old is inevitable, the secret is to remember what it was like being young.

Whats entertaining is that young people can\'t seem to understand that old people were once young and all those rebellious things they are doing we\'ve already done, 50 times, backwards, before they were even born.

What bothers me the most is that there are alots of product that now use these song as their jingles,. So now when I listen to these old songs, product pop into my head....Nighthawk Headlight ( ....I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles...), Cadilac CTS....Grecian Formula ( ...now we say do not trust anyone over 90 as two octogenarians in wet suits frolic in the surf to ...summer..time of my life....Sorry I\'m bad with song titles) Gone are the days \" Hey, Maurice....Two minutes for looking so good \". You have to be an old Canadian fart to remember that commercial.
Using these songs kind of ruins them and their meanings...Just my opinion........Dragomir

I tell that to the ungsters in work when they come out with a load of excuses and then tell them a lot more which would have been more fun and entertaining, eventually they get the message and just tell the truth straight off when they have had a heavy night and slept in a bit lol
