Spyglass is Steve Buddle\'s work. He was mentioned elsewhere. He\'s currently working for someone else I believe. His Spyglass stuff is still in production, it just won\'t grow very fast.

Spyglass was my first thought as well.
Then I-Kore though I-Kore has been bought by Urban Mammoth, and I don\'t think they kept all the sculptors because I haven\'t been as impressed with UM\'s stuff. (theres is the \"Cletos\" stuff someone else pointed out)

Another one I\'ve had good experience with (super-clean castings) is Dark Sword.

Tom Meier is a legend in the hobby. He has been a professional miniatures sculptor for over 30 years, starting with Ral Partha and now with his own line of miniatures proudly presented by Thunderbolt Mountain

Just to avoid dissapointment for those who don\'t know the series. The figure Mick refers to is 54mm. Andrea does have two 30mm ranges (Camelot and romans) but they are a tad old and absolutely not that quality. Even if the witch and buffoon are amongst the favourite figures I have of them. Well, after getting rid of the blob that was supposed to be a raven.

One more vote for Tom. I have that figure and also in reality it looks that good. As does the travelling elven lady he has.
Do note though that not everybody likes to paint his figures. The small details make it a pretty hard job. Styles like Steve Buddles and Kev White\'s give easier to paint figures while they look great to.

If your up for the whole sculpting thing then maybe you might wanna just try taking a spyglass female head and adjusting it so you can glue it to a gryphon rackham model.
Youll get an extremely detailed face AND body!

yes I like those sculpts very much, particularly Victoira, Sword Mistress. As much as I like the sculpt (anime hair is something I advocate for) she has a slight bit of the face problem that has me in such a vexing postion.

I would say the best 28/32mm sculpts belong to rackham.

I have been a big fan of Dennis Mize since his Ral Partha days and he does premier female sculpts. However, recently I have taken a shine to Werner Klocke\'s work for entirely opposite reasons. The two sculpting styles couldn\'t be more dissimilar but I like each in their own way.

Thank you for that link. I had no Idea that TM did sculpts for them. Those look really cool. I hope to collect them soon.

When I went there today I saw >all< the Parkinson series are by Tom.

It\'s my own fault that I didn\'t see them the first time when you pointed out the Dark Sword series. I am sorry to have got confused. I am grateful for all the help you given me over the past year.
