Maybe you should sculpt some straps that he is holding the shield with to cover that awkward smooth area between fingers and thumb?

Proof positive that plastic minis can look great with a great paint job!

I suppose it\'s a bit late to point out that there\'s a big mold line on the inside of the right horn? Guessing the likely answer... I probablly wouldn\'t remove it either, just photograph it from the front and right when posting it to CMoN and noone will ever know. :drunk

There are more (sword hilt, back of loincloth, left hand and bracer) but those are nowhere near as visible. I\'ve been working on a GW Dwarf Army the past few weeks so I know all to well the pain of removing lines from helms and espically helms with horns.

It really is looking good however and I\'m anxious to see the finished product.

I must know... Were these pictures taken with the flash on? If so I just had a great idea for finding highlight spots, if not then that is really top notch metallic highlighting you\'ve done.

Oh yeah... The \'great idea\' that popped into my head (though I doubt I\'m the first to think of it) would be to snap a photo of the mini from the point of lightsource with the flash on. That should put light in the picture where you want the highlights. That wasn\'t ment as a suggestion for you BTW, just me thinking out loud and trying to avoid the future questions from people... \"What idea?\".
