you are gonna hate me but it STILL needs a better pic. he\'s too small and too dark

can you give me a link to a guide please? ive looked on CMON but i havent got all the programs that are mentioned. also ive tried to brighten the pic in but when i do it doesnt look right.

It doesn\'t help greatly, but I was having a small play with some of the lighting -

I\'m not master at taking pictures, but I\'d suggest getting up closer to the figure before taking the pic. It also looks to me that the camara isn\'t taking account of lighting conditions so it\'s all coming out rather warm and \'orangey\'!

For quick wins, I\'ve been a recent convert to Picassa - which has all manner of buttons to click to adjust the photo - with undo buttons if it all goes pear-shaped!
