Master of Recruits is armed with a power sword and bolter.

Master of the Arsenal has a power sword and wears the Mk III Iron Armour.

Master of the Fleet has a thunder hammer.

Master of the Watch has a storm shield and power axe.

@freak:
they are not the chapter master, but ranks within the command heirarchy...
in apocalypse, they are a unit that give special strategems, and are ultra marines to be taken alongside marneus calgar...
any of them can be used easily as chapter master models for whichever army, just taken as a commander...

cheers

They are basically just captains for different companies fighting together. And each captain has another name.. an honorary title like the tenth company (scout company) is the master of recruits. Other chapters then Ultramarine have different ways of doing this but it should be roughly the same on any mainstream chapter...

and the rest will be purged in the fires of the inquisition...

Aye, it\'s for those chapters that follow the codex closely.

A little more info for those 4.

Master of the Watch: Second Company.

Master of the Arsenal: Third Company.

Master of the Fleet: Fourth Company.

Master of Recruits: Tenth (scout) Company.

I\'m wondering how some of the more Non-codexed chapters (Space Wolfs) would handle these positions.
Master of Recruits=Wolf Priest? (Ulrik the Slayer?)
And I would think that the Master of the Arsenal would almost be a tech marine. Or do they report to the Captain who holds that title?
And would the Master of the Watch be the oldest (IE most experienced) of the lot? Some one who is maybe not as spry as the youngens, but not completely ready for the old campaigners home?

Well, in the codex chapters (or at least those that follow the UM way) the Master of the Watch is responsible for the defence of the fortress of the chapter.

First company captain is the Chapter Regent, second in command to the Chapter Master.

The sixth company is the Master of the Rites. He oversees the day-to-day training and the ceremonies, so I would think that could be the oldest one.

I imagine the sons of Fenris would do things their own way...like they usually do lol

Hey Roger, where are you finding all this out. I thought that I was pretty well indoctrinated in the cult of GW lore, But I can not remember reading any of this anywhere. Please advise.

Didn\'t you know? I\'m from the future. 40k is real.

Or it may be from the B&C forums. It doesn\'t say where the poster got the info so it may not actually be correct (apart from which four the minis are of).
