Well if you make it into the UK, you\'ll be welcome at Casa Dodds for an overnighter at least.
Good curry houses :D
THe UK has some excellent scenery outside of London.

You can get a discount off Greek ferries with an Inter-rail pass, they are cheap anyway.

From Germany, into the French Alps (WOW!) into Italy via Nice/Monaco(too beautiful). Down through Italy (Stunning!) to Greece to go Island hopping. At this time of year the weather is perfect and the sea is the perfect temperature. Greek ferries are very cheap and easy to use. Getting accomodation is SO easy. I would head for Thira and Crete, just for the Monoan ruins which are amazing!

Or Spain. I agree about Toledo. It\'s superb and very very interesting.

That\'s what I would do :D

At this time of year Northern Europe has too much interesting weather!

If you want beaches and you are going to the UK then I would recommend the Gower Peninsula in South Wales, just a few miles from Swansea and about 50 miles from Cardiff. It was the first ever place in Britain to be designated \"An area of outstanding natural beauty\". Gower information / pictures.

Other than that I had a great time in Belgium, Bruges, Brussels and Ghent are all great, and it\'s such as small country you can get to them all easily. Plus I have never met a Belgian who was not friendly.

If you are around Barcelona, there is a very cool place near there that is little known by tourists but merits a visit as well, Girona which has a fantastic medieval town centre.

If it\'s beaches you want and you\'re hitting the UK, I\'d recommend Porthcurno and Carbis Bay in Cornwall and Three Cliffs, Rhossili and Barafundle in Wales. I never used to be a beach person, but these places have converted me! Rhossili is not a swimming beach, more of a surfy one. I mention it for the views. Incredible place.
