After a very long time off I have finally brought myself a few paints and miniatures to get going again.
A week after starting I have achieved excactly nothing. Every time I attempt a miniature I quickly resort to stripping it because my blending is horrible and I have little understanding of the principles of the pallete and colour selection.
However the only way to learn is to practice, so starting from now I have decided to take one attempt and one attempt only on each miniature and upload it. Even if it is shockingly blended with sharp transitions and lacking any contrast.
Currently have a Sanguinary guard primed and ready to go so will start there and post it in all it's imperfect glory.
