From big to small, tried a different approach to painting this model, it's an attempted copy of the same mini by Alexander Kataurov.
Definitely learned a lot in the process!

Cheers guys!
Been cracking on with Ghazghkull, tring out new techniques and using more appropriate pallets for the various elements, finding little use for my citadel shades these days.

I've been drooling over yor photos of Ghazgul on IG, damn this is epic!
Absolutely love the metallic reflections, yet everything else is also top notch. Love the weathering, the bone, the glowy barrel tips and that orc face is just great.
10/10

I command this thread brought back to life! I've been a little remiss over the last couple of years, all my work have been commissions with some restriction on posting so I've been languishing on Instagram. But I have a near impossible task that I'd like to share, I've been in the very slow process of doing a scratch model of Kaldor Draigo and I'm aiming to enter him into the UK Golden Demon comp, but I've not printed the final model yet and have only 2 weeks :D

So I've finished the model in CAD and have printed off a test that I'm doing some colour tests on now, and the print is pretty good to be honest. The painting schedule is really tight with no time off for the next 14 days and no room for eff ups!
