Well, some ork was done - and the beastie was dropped, so its back in the shop for repairs. And I've discovered me airbrush is not working - sooo, have to get a new one. I'm so upset about that.

So, this is what got worked on instead of the Orkspry getting paint last weekend -

Da Grot Bomb Launcha -

Its gonna get a removable Grot Rocket, and the driver from the Ork Trukk.

Not sure on the launcher. Looks weedy, not enough worky bits and support bits.
Straighten/level out the main ramp so she's not on there cockeyed, add a couple of supports on the back end (run them to the top of the rear fenders), and maybe add a couple of side/guide ramps to keep the rocket from rolling out of the cradle. Also looks like you may have to reposition the exhaust out of the way abit.

Gonna add some supporty bits and some worky bits - but gonna go back to the main pole rather than the rear fenders as I want to be able to swap it out with some other rocket launcha's or take it down to pack it for transport. Also want the option of being able to turn it sideways for launch. Da driver might be an ork, but he don't want a gob fulla roket exhaust.

That's two of the 5 that are in process, including the orkspry, not counting the one I started planning last night at work that will be scratch built. I ran out of space before I ran outta WIPS.

Best part in my sick little mind is that using that particular scarab as the inspiration gives me some really silly options for mycetic spores. Scarabs are dung beetles, after all . . . .

Thats one of the responses I'm looking for - I'm a firm believer in the siller the better, as well as provoking thought filled discussion across the table.
