Cake or Death?
My college town was rated the \"bike-friendliest\" town in America by some such or another, and it was interesting. I took about three flips over the handlebars because of potholes in the bike lanes (they get a lot of rain, and just can\'t keep up) in the four years I was there, and I always managed to avoid spectacular injury. But the guy who invented helmets needs to be thanked in all three incidents.

After my last crack-up, I switched to a 250cc bike with some bigger wheels and better shocks.

 it\'s not so much the falls, as the dogs and one goose that race along and nip at your legs:cussing::flame:

My friend got run over by a bike in Germany. He stepped off a bus and got hit by a bike! the worst part was that it was an old lady and she didn\'t even stop. I haven\'t really fallen off my bike recently, unless you count skidding from a really fast speed and doing a 360 except it went much farther than a 360 and I spun in a circle all the way to the ground. I stayed on the bike even when it was horizontal to the ground! It actually probably looked pretty cool to some one else even though it was kinda unintentional. I did get a big cut from a rock though.

I just re-read this. A goose? Are we talking about the impolite gentleman kind, or the big, foul-tempered beast with wings kind?

the bird..best roasted with an onion, sage and apple stuffing

for Roger:

took a lovely ride in the countryside, passed a pond when a demonic goose popped up out of no where and chased me nipping the back of my legs:eek:
