I wasn\'t going to enter this one as I\'m hosting a mini exchange/painting contest on WaMP myself right now but what the heck.

Although I have to add that I\'d like to urge people to try to be willing to send out internationally. For example only sending from the US to the US, means either others are paying the high shipping price you are trying to dodge, or that this international exchange gets segmented into a few regions without all that much interaction. I don\'t mind shipping international, but this shouldn\'t mean that I\'m paying more to have others save some money. Besides I love the \"wow, that mini is impossible to get around here, thanks!\" side of the exchange. Last but certainly not least, having as few shipping restrictions as possible makes the job of the organizer (ZapotekE, thanks again by the way) much easier. Think about the necessity before restricting shipping-to locations. Thanks for reading, and happy exchange everyone! :beer:

I don\'t think the reason some people want to post internally is purely down to money, it costs pretty much the same here to send a parcel to Singapore as it does to Skegness. The fact that the last few exchanges have been dogged with slow shipping times (especially where Canada is concerned) has made me think twice about shipping internationally. There\'s nothing worse than waiting for a package that you posted weeks ago to arrive at its destination except perhaps being the person who is expecting said package. Add to this the fact that some people can\'t post out straight away because they are waiting for flagged senders and it puts kind of a dampener on the whole thing.

In my case I just decided \"Sod it, if it takes ages to get there it\'s not my lookout.\" lol

Hey all,

Don\'t take me wrong, I hope everybody participates in this exchange and selects his or her personal shipping preference. And I\'m not saying there aren\'t good and valid reasons for wanting to just send within your own country or continent. It\'s just that I hate to see the international aspect of this exchange diminish. Not that that\'s actually happening yet really; anyway, I just want people to think about their reasons before selecting Liechtenstein-only as their preferred destination.
I hope no one takes my remarks personal, they\'re not meant that way, it\'s a more general point.
