Hi Guys,

I'm newish to coolminiornot but love the site and the community on here. I'm recently returned to the hobby after a very lengthy 20year break. To challenge myself and give me a bit of motivation I have decided to try and place as a finalist at Golden Demon UK 2012. I'm not after a trophy or anything that grand a finalists pin will do me just fine

To create a log of my progression from relative novice to aspiring competitor I've decided to blog my progress. I've created willsinnerdemon to host thoughts, WIP and finished miniature galleries and I welcome anyone from coolminiornot that wants to stop by and hopefully contribute to the site.

I'll be a using coolminiornot for all the invaluable tutorials and more importantly perusing the images of your fantastic minis for added inspiration and ideas.

That's a rather spiffy title for a demon wip. :good:

Looks good mate. the detail photos show off the axe and shield nicely, but the final shots of the whole mini are a little dark. I'm not liking the mini either, GW seem to have gone a little overboard with that helmet I think. But hey they do have plenty of fine sculpts out there. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the comments. I get you re the final pics dogface. I have a new camera now but cannot get to grips with my pants light setup. I'll be taking some more soon as I have been painting today so will update the post soon.

WELCOME! And cool blog. If anyone's mean to you, just let me know and i'll get someone else to sort it out, can't be arsed with the drama, me. Good WIP pics, shows just how crucial getting pics right can mean to things though! Some parts the Axe was brilliant full 3D and awesome then it just looked blotchy and hastily done lol! Odd how that works.
Hope you fin a happy home here anyway Few of us ever leave. I'm a fine testament to that, and possibly a bit of a hypocrite =P
