There are two types of people in the world, Sponge Bob\'s and Patrick\'s. Sponge bob\'s are leaders and Patrick\'s are followers. That said I am a sponge bob. I have a natural ability to convince people to do really dumb things. When I was growing up I was always coming up with ideas that were less than safe and would convince my friends to be the ones to test out my ideas... such as building a not too sturdy man powered go cart and driving it down a very steep hill. Needless to say that friend ended up messing up his entire left leg. I did not know that anyone could fit so many band aids and medical wraps onto one surface. Their mom did not like me very much, hehehe.

To sum up I guess I was the friend who accidently hurt his friends, because growing up one does not know what damage a piece of wood thrown at someones head will do until it is done :)

At colledge a mate and I were having one of those fake slow-mo badly dubbed martial arts fights... I was holding a steel table leg (don\'t ask) and he was pretending to kick it out of my hands... only he accidentally DID kick it, and not out of my hands, but straight back into my face.

Lots of blood and a trip to A&E later I had a half inch gash on the middle of my forehead which is still there today, some fifteen years later... makes me look a little like an overweight middle aged Harry Potter.

tried to remove a pinky finger on a router table.

Tried to slice several fingers off with various knifes at various times.

Shoulders, knees and hearing both messed up from large caliber rifles.

Only one from a friend:

Medieval reinacting (SCA) - had an elbow destroyed in a demo bout. 6 different pieces and lots of pins to put it all back together again.

Hey, I did that! My best friend and I wanted to see how fast his brother could ride sitting on a skateboard on the hill outside my house. He was scared, so we offered him some protection: a cardboard box that we sealed so he wouldn\'t fall out.

What can I say - we were trying to build a time machine. Is that a crime????

I played spotter for a friend as he sniped at another friend on the roof of his house with an air rifle - sounded like a good idea at the time, a through-n-through to the hand and a trip to a&e later however...the problem is that some people are just funny when they\'re suffering...

The worst I\'ve had is when one of my mates nun-chucked me in the face.

They were only training ones but hurt like a bitch none the less.

Me (8 yrs. old) + Russel Brown (8 yrs. old)+ matches. Didn\'t really get \'hurt\', just scared to death. Almost burned down a field and who knows what else. Our little play area smoldered for hours and his dad, at 11 at night had to run out in his bathrobe with a hose and save the day. My dad \'had words\' with me. Shockingly no paddeling, I was crying hystarically and he let me off.
