Micro Art Studio Rubber Molds: Examples of Use?

So it looks like they have two types of fur and supposedly chain mail coming down the line.

Unlike say, Happy Suppuku molds, these look like they're designed to be put on something. How would that work? anyone have any experience with them? Looks interesting but different enough that I'm wondering how it actually works. I'm terrible with green stuff and I can't imagine that it's not going to pick up finger prints right away as soon as you lift it off the mold.

Microart needs to be some examples up on the page I think.

i use press molds for this kind of thing all the time, same principal. it an be used to add texture to soft GS, then carefully removed and applied (grease the mold well), be used to apply texture directly (on a big model) or the GS can be allowed harden in the mold.

has anyone ever done or thought about making pressmolds for castle parts?

Hist arts makes castle & many other molds that can be used for any type of casting. Most people use high grade plaster because it's cheep and easy.

got a friend who is experimenting with hirst arts moulds as we speak, their moulds are stunning!

I can't imagine that it's not going to pick up finger prints right away as soon as you lift it off the mold.

make the greenstuff mold larger than you need, and handle it outside the area that will be used on the model, then cut it away.

I love the pressmold. Would love it if a company sold just the molds themselves!
