Love that pict with the car in it. :D

Yeah, that\'s an interesting picture. I would have thought it would of melted it and good, but I\'m guessing it must have cooled down a goodly bit by the time that it got to it.

Thanks all, for the research you have done for me. Cheers. :) Okay this is what I\'ve done. I made a base from three different stages of lava (i couldn\'t make up my mind). I\'ve got a thick cooled down crust on the outer ring of the base. Then i have that thick lumpy rolling stuff with lava shining through the cracks of its thin skin. In the middle i have a small amount of hot, hot, hot lava with a couple of bubbles (from gases underneath). This has been done on a round 60mm monster base using millput and GS. All i have to do is paint it  Oh btw i have done a test on a smaller base but i got carried away with the bubbles and yellow colour. It was also my fist attempt at gold senmm. I shall post it when i have some free time through I\'m not expecting a high score for it. It was a mess around piece. Anyway folks, thanks for everything. This is one great forum. CHEERS!!

hqas any of you seen the video footage of lave pouring into water from underwater. its crazy! the water cools it so fast the lava colapses in on itself and makes a large popping sound. its hard to explain...you just gotta see it.

Yeah I\'ve seen that. :) Erm... How do i put a pic in the works in progress section :( Just so i can show you folks what I\'ve done so far. If it needs standing on or not ;)

Yeah, I have seeen it too. It produces what is called \'pillow lava\'. Amazing. Those underwater vents called \'smokers\' are pretty amazing also.
