i use it for my brews and cooking.

when milky lumps form in my brew it\'s time to get some more milk.

and you can\'t beat full fat straight from the cow goodness. it might have more calories than jo brand, but it tastes gorgeous.

The biggest confusion here is the difference between milk and milk. The Americans quite often have that UHT stuff. It outlasts most humans. Real milk (over here) in a proper glass bottle can go off real quick but it tastes the best. Glass doesn\'t flavour the milk. Plastic does, so do cartons. I buy milk every day if I can so it\'s fresh, but on a once weekly big shop I buy a big fat four pinter. Organic. Accrington Stanley?

I ain\'t a milk expert by the way, I just like it and read in a well-established food magazine that Americans pateurise and heat-treat the milk to death. Crazy! It was written by an American food-critic.

Muesli in the morning, nice white sauces and stuff in the evening. Cooking.........marvellous.

when we lived on a farm, we had a milk cow, so no plastic bottles for us...Straight from the teat, into a stainless steel container! It had a very different taste than store bought milk.

Can\'t get much more organic that that!lol

I give it the sniff test. If I get a gag reflex from the smell, that\'s a sign to pitch it. If I pour it out of the jug and any of it comes out semi-solid, then it definitely gets thrown out. :|~

I have to say I\'m extremely picky about milk. We get milk delivered in glass bottles by the milkman, I don\'t take milk from an opened bottle, have to open a new one :( Drives my mum crazy

Milk is like Water at my family..
With all the chocolate milkshakes and Coffee we drink, it would be over a litre a day!

I am saying this while eating my cereal, with milk, lol

The closest thing we have here to milk comes in 1/4 liter containers - and has been dehydrated, rehydrated, irradiated, and had milk solids added -

The up side is it has a shelf life of years in the desert.

The downside is the carton tastes better.

:D

Malk

Tony Manero, i know what your sayin.
A family snack, dateing back to the day. Milk, bananas, and peanut butter. Smash up all the bannana with a fork,.. or a spoon, mix it all up, and were good to go,

Personally, I\'m begining to find milk a little troublesome to my stomach; gross after 10 am. Cereal, is alright, but not long after dawn, if i am mobile by then.

I used to be a milk chugger in the day, no doubt.

In coffee it\'s all good, if there is no cream about, no cappuccinos past 10 though. Espresso, works

What is this thing called \"farm milk\" I keep hearing? Is this the same lie my father used to tell me about the wonderful milk he would get straight from the farm.

I went to a dairy farm many years ago because it was hosting a number of us (including my father who used to boast about the milk \"from a farm\") deer hunting. That so called \"farm milk\" was more watery than skim. :( Darn cows were bred for quantity not quality.
