Thanks guys. Yeah, the animals are having a bad month on my table. The face was really hard to paint, it didn't cast up quite like the boxart shows it.

Super doopa mate; maybe a bit more snow under the bears leg? Err on second glance is that snow or putty cant tell on my naff work screen everything has a yellow cast pain in the arse so it is.

Nice as usual. I can not tell from the photo, but something to keep in mind, her foot should depress the surface of the freshly killed bear.

Thanks Moe, KB and Alex. KB; I didn't think of that and it is too late now because she is pinned and epoxied in place (dang it).

a little more work on her with a little bigger pic and a better BG color.

Bloodhowl; I want the bear to still be alive with her about to deliver the last fatal arrow, this way it explains why she is pulling a new arrow and the bow is pointed at his head. Goldilocks don't play.

I always suspected she was a cold a$$ b*tch. Sleeping in random beds, eating others food and disappearing like the wind...

Looking really great!

Ahhh got it. I thought she had pulled the arrow from it's corpse and was putting it back in the quiver. You are probably already planning it, but don't forget to string the bow!

I'd say it's a great idea but I couldn't really see the story. Maybe she should look down to the bear, have her head tilted slightly. Would be quite a thing to do this far in the painting process but I think that would make the story more realistic, also tilting the bear's head a bit up would be better in my opinion, as if it's looking at it's assailant.

my thoughts exactly, if she is to deliver the fatal blow i think she should look down on the bear (i know i would!) to make it more believeable. right now its more like "say cheese" moment :)

very nice though anyway! :good:

Thanks guys, I agree that probably should have been something I considered pre-painting but I'm not going to ruin the paint by cutting off her head now. I always thought that she caught a quick glimpse of baby bear in the corner of her eye and gave a little glance in that direction but is still in the process of killing papa bear. She needs to know where the other two bears are so a) they don't catch her by surprise and kill her and b) she isn't letting any of the bear family live, their house is too nice and she wants it for herself. Goldilocks don't play.

Mean, mean lady. I quite like the result. As for the story it tells, you can always say that you are leaving room for people imagination ;)

Been slow going for me on this girl but got a little more done on her. The bear has stumbled into the edge of a creek and is struggling a bit causing splashes, this should show that he is still alive. To be honest I have been feeling sorry for the bear and have been putting off adding the already shot arrows to his body. Maybe I'll do a second version showing the bear mauling Goldilocks. Also, notice her wooden spoon for stealing more food.
