I need to get a pic of her with the tank. She is tall and slender so I kind of think on the tank makes her look big while beside it she looks right. I'll get a pic and post it later today. Thanks for helping with the decision.
Thanks Guy's! Andy; she will be getting treatment by Airbrush for sure. Bailey; Really awesome of you to stop by and talk figures. It is always nice to meet in person.
yeah, she is a giant. I had to go to the hardware store today just to get some two part epoxy to stick her together. I am not even sure how I can tote her to shows, she weighs about six pounds. This is going to be some real fun.
Can you re-enforce her joints with a bit of apoxie sculpt of miliput once pinned or just replace the pegs with some brass rod drilled farther in on each side of the joint? Webmonkey posted a cool youtube vid on that powder subject...
Very similar to what KL posted what feels like a lifetime ago. Anyone heard from that lady BTW? I'm kinda aching to try that out on a few GK kits I have
Thanks for the vid Zab. I'm not sure I know enough about this technique to trust it, I'm going to have to rely on paints for now.
Here is a little update on her. I went ahead and and drilled way in and pinned her really well. The two part epoxy is going to do the trick because I dropped her and nothing but a little piece of hair broke off.
first steps of paint with the AB then onto the brush for selected areas of the face and boobs.
