This looks quite interesting. I\'ve not downloaded it yet but will later.

Looks like a great project, but I admit that I was expecting it to be about minis.
The battle at pellenor (sp?) fields with thousands of minis would be the greatest thing ever.

Bah. Humbug.

It had me on \"the project is to recreate the city of Minas Tirith in 3D.\"

But then I found out that\'s a lie. It\'s to recreate it in 2D with artistic 3D rendering - a.k.a. CGI.

While it has its interest, I like minis and if I can\'t put a mini in it what do I want with it? I can just go visit a conglomoration of European and Middle-Eastern cities. Then it\'s real 3D and to scale.
Heck, why not just build it from photographs of real places slightly tweaked and put together?
