)Sorry Jake, but as some of the other lads have pointed out, both the Witchhunters and Kubla mini were in my lead figs box already which is why i sent them on. I didnt mean any offence to you.
I\'ll post some pics of what DD sends me when they arrive.
@angus 147258 - Don\'t sweat the \"regifting\" of your minis. If it is any consolation, I plan to keep all the minis that were sent to me by Rev (except the Kubla mini - that one is a bit \"cartoony\" for my tastes). I also intend to eventually send one of the minis Jahecker sent me in the last exchange - not because I don\'t like it, but because the set he sent had two identical minis in it. It is all about sharing the wealth, and eventually finding them a good home!
James package pt 1 has gone out today, i had ordered some mini\'s from eBay to send, but it looks like theve been lost in the post, so the blokes resending a bunch today, and il send em out as soon as i get them. So iv sent a \'starter\' kit, with a mini, and a couple of plastic and bits from my bit box for conversions and the such. Enjoy.

It is kind of like X-mas. You parents spend all kinds of money on a gift and you have more fun playing with the box or wrapping paper!
I have been guilty of \"Re-mining\" on a few excanges but I have also been respectful to my excange partners by painting at least one mini from every lot I have been sent and posting them!
I think it is more of a slap in the face when you send someone figures and they do not even paint one! Now I can understand for those under time restraints. Some how I get the impression if Cindy does not paint any of the figures I sent her she will atleast paint the gobbos in cages (and please post them).
Now I am waiting for my package from Wingz....I hate the wait...

I am actually painting one of the caged gobo\'s combined with the plastic dwarf at the moment. The dwarf is holding up the cage in the bare hand in a fist option choice suplied. Those work really well together. I am having a lot of fun with those. And I\'m basing them on one of the bases you suplied as well. Hopefully in a week or so I\'ll be able to show you.
So far i have painted one mini from each ME so far. Not always the ones people expected thoug... but the ones i felt the most like painting at that moment. Still have a few from past exchanges I want to paint eventually.
And i don\'t think if I agree with the slap in the face effect if someone doesn\'t paint one of his miniatures he got send. What if you don\'t like any of the ones you got... non of them inspires you to paint them (like they did with the sender in a lot of cases). Are you expected to put in a lot of paintingtime painting one you don\'t want.. just out of guild or obligation? I don\'t think so. The ME should be fun for all involved.

Got to the post office just before it closed yesterday so my goodies are on their way to Sjakkie in The Netherlands. Hopefully my minis from Onis Lair will arrive soon as I\'m getting a little over-excited now:bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:

Wow, that\'s quick work and really nice too. That caged gobbo thing is a nice touch but that dwarf\'s hands seem huge... then again, you know what they say about big hands...
Did you know that desertdragon1964 is actually father christmas masquarading as a CMON member?! You sly old dog santa....
Recieved a MASSIVE parcel from Bedford Indiana this morning for which i\'m truly grateful. Not only bursting with exciting minis but also much info from DDs hometown which is really cool.
First pic is GW mini\'s:
1 = Ar Ulrick, a GW empire wizard i believe and an incredibly cool model i reckon. Good scope for some of DD\'s resin bits maybe.
2 = Chaos undivided champion. This model is amazing also, have painted him i think 3 times already but i love him so much i think i\'m going to paint him FIRST. Also going to use a resin base and possible one of the discs as a shield.
3 = Pestigor command, No idea about these goats but they look fun (if not a little ugly!)
4 = Bestigor command, seen these before but not painted them. They look mean.
Second pic is of warmachine, reaper and resins;
1 = I have it on good authority that these resins were cast by DD (read santa) himself.
The two squareish bits you see near the middle are good bases for the chaos champ and wizard, while the flatter looking discs would make good shields or standards i think. there are also some skulls (always good for basing) and a larger base which looks like a WW2 type scene to me. awesome.
2 = A box of mercs, hammerfall high shield gun corp to be precise. Look great fun - haven\'t painted warmachine for ages.
3 = crappy photo unfortunatly, but these are warmachine devil dogs. again they look great fun.
4 = some sexy reaper vale archers - ladies are always good to paint.
5 = Gord iron head by reaper. dwarf style mini but made fairly dynamic in his pose with a flowing cloak - could be good for a dual scene i think.
I\'m so chuffed with these minis - realistically i reckon i\'ll only get one done by Xmas, and most likely the Chaos champion. I\'m going to try to incorperate some of DDs resins where possible, to give it a unique CMON feel.

They don\'t just seem huge... they are huge
Plastics also brings a few other design \"problems\" with them. Undercuts are vigerously avoided, which makes some parts a bit plain and hard to paint. Also the lines weren\'t always as sharp as I am used to with metal. But they do paint up fairly quick.@ Rev.. wow that\'s a big haul. sure it was just from one Santa?

Just wanted to say that I\'ve sent out my minis on Saturday, but I\'m not sure how long they take to get to England.
Tell me about it.
Progress this arvo on the build;
Simple stuff really as i like the model as is.
Removed the center skull frmo the horns as i dont like it - this is how it normally looks;
Also bent the horns fwd to look more vicious, and mounted on DDs resin base.
Looking fwd to painting!
