Mini-Exchange #5!!!

Feel free to send me more than one...
But seriously anyone else bummed about getting a selection to choose from? I admit last exchange I sent 14 figures, but to me it was like 4 choices (10 were a Unit, 2 Singles and a blister of 2). I would hope whatever I send, makes someone happy. If this really has an opposite effect on people let me know, so this exchange I can \"curb my enthusiasm\"

Not me. (but lets make it clear, so no one gets the wrong idea... Send ONE mini... others are extra)
I loved the stuff Ipaintmini\'s sent me. I run an Orc forum so a couple old school sculpts of gobbos were great... I don\'t know how she figured it out, but I love the vic haley figure, and in fact had to call up Neil, and have it removed from my order - hahahaah. The half a dolphin was just too silly not to like, AND a three inch wide fuzzy d20 is STILL my cats favorite toy. (and we have an older not-so-well-sighted member of our group, and we teased him mercilessly by giving him that die to roll so he could \'see\' the numbers...)
The only drawback was getting them all painted, with all the other stuff I have to do, and the membership in the Slowest Painter in the World Club...
Now what I am curious about:
Do you think people have \'re-giffted\' minis they have been sent? That would be too funny if some horrible archer sculpt or something kept getting passed around the world...

As I type this, I\'m waiting for the primer to dry on another of my ME4 minis from leopardpixie. The WarGods Warhawk Hero with Eagle.
I\'ve even found a picture of an eagle to try to do justice to on the eagle.....

What I meant by triple-thread was this -
I was sitting at my paint station looking at all the stuff I want to paint. I missed FF\'s last two contests because I was so busy; that is why I figured doing spooky miniatures for the exchange would kill TWO birds with one stone. Then I was thinking, I have some stuff I want to do for Tab\'s fund raiser and too bad I couldn\'t just use the ME5/Rotten harvest mini... hey... wait a minute! Why not? Right now I\'m stuck waiting for another blister of Way Watchers to comein, so in the meantime whatever I get for ME5 I\'ll enter in Nathan\'s contest, then ship it to Tab! Just because the theme is Wood Elves doesn\'t mean we have to send Wood Elves; She\'s willing to take anything to help the Hurricane victims right now.
Now... no one else need do any of this, but when your on a tight schedule like me combining three projects into one is an efficiency expert\'s dream!
Now, if I can just work in a Wood Elf model... hmmmm... those dryads look pretty scarey...
Oh BTW... Ther WILL BE THREE PRIZES, and I\'m actually putting myself into the exchange (not the contest).
I\'ll be pulling names out O\' my as... errrr... hat as of 12PM EST. I allowed Three weeks for sign up, so there will be NO late comers this time out. As much as I enjoyed all of the little exchanges last timearound it got a little hectic.

Well, I regifted a mini once (not part of this exchange) that was a Klocke sculpt. I tossed it into a bitz box auction I did on ebay because the buyer turned out to be a CMON member I had chatted with and the price went way over what I was looking for.Originally posted by jimbob1066e

I will be passing on in this contest one of the minis I won in the last contest if that counts as regifting.
In neither case is it a bad mini though. I would not subject anyone unawares to one of my hideous 30-year old minis.

Hey, don\'t get me wrong.
FF and LP were very generous, and I appreciate their generosity a great deal.
I\'m asking only for one because that\'s all I\'ll have time for, between work, looking for a new job as the current one is winding down, social obligations, and occasionally snagging bits of sleep here and there.
And even one, knowing me, will probably end up being finished late.
Variety is a fine and wonderful thing, but this time around, I want to actually have a chance of finishing something on time, is all.
Next time, everybody can send me one each.

You don\'t have to paint them all by the deadline you know. Having piles of little bits of metal around will help you survive when the dark days come.
Yes, LP, I liked the minis you sent me. I\'m working on the second one, still, and he\'s coming along nicely. I think he\'ll even top the one I just posted.
@vince: I know I don\'t /have/ to finish them by the deadline, but just once, I want to. Like I said, next time around, if someone wants to send me a 1400 pt. army of GW stuff, it\'ll be all good.
At this moment, I\'ve got my eye on that Reaper demon mini, Agemmon, or something like that. Can\'t remember the name, exactly, but I\'m pretty sure it starts with an A. I\'d look it up, but that would require several clicks on my mouse, which is entirely too much effort for me.
And the paint in my palette is drying.
