wow.....those top two are from Hero Quest....reeeaaallly old Milton Bradley/GW board game...I use \'em mostly as D&D (or any other RPG I\'m playin\') monsters. didn\'t really know anyone else still had some of those laying around

I\'ve got a few of the others from my set painted in my gallery (Chaos Warrior, Chaos Sorceror, 3 orks). My set lacked the Barbarian and Gargoyle, which I would really love to find but I\'m not going to spend a load for them as I don\'t have a complete game or ever play.
HeroQuest was from 1989 and if I recall correctly is not even as old as that zombie cavalry piece. It\'s certainly not as old as a big chunk of my stuff.

Here is my progress so far. I chose the centaur figure that I received from Naukhel but decided to cut it up a little. I am tired of seeing centaurs standing idly by with a bow in their hands. This figure has a great face on it, sculpted in the early 90\'s by Julie Guthrie. Here is the figure as it was meant to be;
and here is what I have done so far. I plan to add more to the clothing and probably add a scabbard also.

Finally got around to photoing my presents.
I have mixed the ones I got from Gin and Starfall together. One of the GW Tyranid thingies had an arm break off, but looks like an easy reglue. Never had one of the LOTR minis before and Frodo is nicely detailed (and apparently endowed with a biggun sized \"package\"). One of the best is the elf who while primed, I\'m still glad to have because he\'ll make a perfect charriot driver.
Dunno who made the dryad thing but very sexy and I look forward to trying the transition from bark to flesh.
I just love the old TSR minis - two gunfighters and a sandshark (and one not shown as I am going to enter it in the Rotten Harvest comp).
And my favorite of all: Kareoke Boy!

The Dryad thing looks like it is from Mars Ultor - they sent along some nice loot in the last contest and I saw some of these in there I believe. Neat miniatures.
