Mini sugestions?

Hey all,

I\'m looking for a unique mini that depicts a male elf wizard or sorcerer. I\'ve been through the galleries at Reaper and GW, but didn\'t find anything that suited me. Has anyone here seen anything cool along those lines?

I found lots of cool figs for female magic users at Hasslefree and Freebooter, but no nice male ones.

I\'m looking for something dynamic but a classic elf theme, or perhaps wood elf theme, just as long as it\'s not a GW high elf.

It\'s for a friend of mine, and I thought that the denizens of the CMON boards might have an idea for me.

I think there\'s a fairly cool Ilyad wood elf (Sylvarin as they call them) male magician. Might be a bit tricky to get, though, unless you\'re in France or are willing to pay an arm and a leg in shipping costs... Not being helpful here, am I? :innocent:

Took two years to hit sales after the initial casts were made and it\'s a good mini. Both arms really need pinning, but hey that Mini\'s for ya!.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.

I got some more info from my friend. He wants an elf with a bow, sword, book, scroll, or combination of any of those either in his hands or stored on his back. A hooded figure is fine, so it doesn\'t have to be strictly an elf, though \"elfy\" grace would be nice. I guess that opens us up to rogues or ranger types too.

I checked out the Mordheim figs Mike, and that one is cool, my friend might also like the ranger figure that is also available.

Ritual, I checked the Ilyad site for figures (I knew majoring in French was going to be useful someday!) and the artwork looks cool but there are no pics of the minis themselves. Would you happen to know anywhere where there are pics of the minis? Maybe I just didn\'t look around patiently enough.
