Oh, thank you for bringing this up now. I would have forgotten until after the list.

ME11 was the first time I\'d seen folks request trading partners or asked to be switched because they had traded with their current partner before.

Requesting partners
The mini-exchange list is randomly generated in Excel. If it randomly matches someone with the wrong shipping preference I move them one up or one down to correct that. Assigning names is somewhat contrary to the exchange. If you want to trade with someone specific - go for it... outside of the ME.

Repeat trading partners
I will check this time to (try and) make sure that people aren\'t paired in ME12 with the same folks they traded with in ME11. It may still happen but I will check the lists against each other. If, however, you\'re matched with someone you\'ve traded with in a previous ME... well, now you know that they like :idea:

The list is random. You may get someone you\'ve traded with before - and you\'re not likely to get a specific name you\'d like to trade with.

Should this go in to the rules?
What do you think, folks, should these little gems go in to the rules? Would it help avoid confusion later or are these questions likely to come up every time anyway?

I\'m not entering this exchange because of the last one. Bill was prompt with his, and I\'ve been very late and each time I\'ve had a good reason. Right now I (have been) and am undergoing exams, two school trips that are a week and a half long in total, and I can write more but I know the package is late and I shouldn\'t have any excuses. But don\'t go writing that kind of thing, considering that I have the package ready right now. I\'m back for 12 hours tonight, and then I\'ll be off on a week-long trip. I\'m shipping out your package tomorrow morning. Once again, sorry for the delay, but try to see past what looks like procrastination. Thanks.

Yes definately.

Perhaps an added note, that people are welcome to trade minis whenever they want, there\'s no rules against that. If you want to trade with someone random, sign up for a Mini Exchange, if you just want to trade minis, check out the trading post section of CMON.
