got my minis from stickyboy9000 today, am really pleased.
two bloodbowl cheerleaders, and i\'m a massive bloodbowl player so thats awesome!
2 house escher juves and a house cawdor deacon (who i\'m going to incorperate into my =][= retinue I hope!
an old bloodletter (i think?) and a zombie (always cool) and 6 really cute nurglings (i think) they\'re awesome, so small!

Wehey!!! My package from Johnboy arrived at my inlaws in Northampton last week (I trust Coventry post office that much that I get everything important sent there) but I\'ve had to wait till today to pick it up. And man was it worth the wait!
First off I pulled out a plastic army set with a couple of US flags, some sand bags and a SAM Jeep followed by a wooden glider. From this I\'m sensing a connection to an Airbase or something. Unfortunately they were confiscated by my 4 year old daughter before I could play with them
Then came the minis, and more minis, and more minis. In the end I\'ve finished up with some GW Dark Elves, a couple of Space Marines, some freebooter stuff, a Sherlock Holmes which I think is from Hasslefree (possibly) a wierd pygmy ninja thing from ral partha, and a teeny ickle racing car which I\'m giving to the Mrs as she likes F1. I\'ll post pics once I\'ve done a bit of assembly as the freebooter stuff comes in so many pieces it\'s hard to tell what it is.

The plastic army guys are really good to chop up and use for bases. The glider represents Seattle being the home of Boeing. (It also happens to be a really fun little toy that is inexpensive and easy to ship) The little race-car is from formula de and they are bloody impossible to prep and paint. Have fun.

Mine arrived safely. I got a great old GW kev adams orc called Mard, couple Mordheim Middenheim youngbloods, an old Ral Partha female cleric (who\'s actually in scale, its amazing holding it next to the GW minis and seeing how badly out of scale they are), a plastic RTB01 Space Marine, some sort of cool slaaneeshi beast thing (at least thats what I think it is, its got boobs all down one side and claws and odd backwards legs...), but the best one is last...

The beastie is a Beast of Slaneesh from back in the Slaves of Darkness days.
As you can probably tell most of my mini collection was picked up in the early 80s. I did a quick browse of your gallery and noticed quite a few oldies and a couple squats so I had to send one of my unpainted ones along for the ride.

Now I have found the time to make a picture of the miniatures I got from lizcam, and since I know that painters are very curious I will show you here what I got
Most of the are very vintage miniatures from Grenadier and other legendary manufactors, some over 25 years old !!
I like especially the guy with the suit and the falcon-statue in his hand.

Ooooooooooo, now I\'ve got that tingly feeling of excited expectation. I\'ve been getting back into the painting groove recently so hopefully I\'ll manage to tackle something from the surprise pack this time around. I\'ll give you a shout when it arrives :beer:
