does anyone object to a public display of their address

The best way, IMO, would be to post a list and then everyone can PM their address to the one who\'s sending them a mini.

I don\'t mind my adresse beeing seen by others as long as I don\'t start receiving comercials in the mail And since I don\'t think anyone on the forum is about to do that no probleme for me. I think it would be cool that you don\'t know who sent you a mini until you get it. Suspense ... (I just love getting things in my mail :flip: )

I don\'t know if this is the case with the CMON forum, but others I know for sure are indexed by some search engines, and I wouldn\'t want a google search of my name to give the one doing the search my full address.

I was also thinking of having a two month time suggestion for the picture posts....

like say....Start: 11/15

Conveniently starting right after the latest CMON contest deadline, and ending a while after Christmas (when of course everyone is so relaxed and gets so much painting done ) Good plan. Even us tardy painters can work with a 2-month window, methinks.

I don\'t know about the other Canadians but I would be fine with sending a mini to someone in the US, it\'s not really very much more expensive.

Sounds good to me, 2 months should make it easy enough for me. I am kinda busy though, I have a lot of commission work to do: 3 armies, 1 Inquisitor fig, 1 Wolfen Prowler and whatever my favorite client gives me, but winter break will allow me enough time to paint it up. I would prefer to PM my address and think that a public display of WHO is trading would be nice. When I find out who I\'m trading with I\'m probably going to search around their piccies and see what their style is like and pic a mini that sort of stretches their norm. Too bad I don\'t have any pics in mine (soon to be changed). Thanks again TJeffers.

Tidoco\'s idea sounds good to me, keeps one person from doing ALL of the arranging. Also this helps information to not get transfered if all the match-maker has to do is post our names with our partner.

HERE WE GO

Hi folks! I am at a technology conference in a cyber cafe....I need to get a list complied with locations and preferences as to where we want to send to listed. I can work on it tonight, but if anyone feels so inclined to do the list have at it....I will check later. Once the list is done I will do the drawings and post the results and then we can PM each other with our information...and let the carnage begin. I will also provide info as to where can send the pictures to me and I will also post them to my site and give all of you that info. P REMEMBER if you can take a pic of the mini before and after you paint it. And looking around at who you draw and what they have on CMON is a great idea to get a feel for the stuff they like...I don\'t have a lot listed but some of you have tons! Next post will be later tonight or tomorrow, as soon as I have time to do the list (or if someone does it for me), I will list the results!!! Later!
