I started prepping my Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth today that Doughnut sent me (first chance I\'ve had this week) and am also planning the base, are we allowed to embellish a bit with our projects?

BTW, I know a few people have been straggling in here and hooking up but any of you find yourselves without a trading partner, feel free to holler at me and I\'ll be happy to participate with another person or three.

Well at last! After an extremely long and busy week of night shifts I can actually turn my attention to my Prince Imrahil model. I hope to have the base made tomorrow, the mini is assembled and prepped and just needs basecoating so hopefully I should have something to show in the next day or two.

We still have a 2 month deadline right? I\'ve recently become quite busy. 3 of my grandparents (well, 1 great-grandparent) are in the hospital, progressive school work and increased amount of commission is stretching me thin right now. I can have it done by he original deadline of February though (or sometime over christmas break). Please tell me we still have 2 months. Glad to hear you\'re liking that mini tidoco.

Ok as promised here is the before pic of my piece, the base still needs texturing and there are still some mould lines on the plastic orc to come off.
The mounted prince Imrahil was my gift through the post.
Hope you like it so far, I am aiming to get it painted by the weekend (here\'s hoping).

The deadline is Jan 15 so relax folks...mine is out of the package but that is as far at I have gotten. Thanksgiving break will likley see a start. Those of you who are done.....wow!
The next one we do will likely get bigger than this one. I love seeing all the works in progress....planning on taking some new pics of stuff this weekend...have a killer camera now....if I can just learn to run it.

Your work looks uber cool. Is that a cork base? I think if we all do a write up from start to finish it would be nice for everyone as well....those who want to can send them along with their pics to:

@TJeffers yup its cork I basically just cut a piece off a tile to fit inside a GW regiment tray and then tore off bits to use as rocks. The flat area that is left has now been covered in \'n\' scale model railway ballast, also
