That looks very nice so far, John! Feels a bit weird seeing this after having spent more than a decade in a box in my parents\' attic with a half-done horrible looking paint job. lol

The base looks very promising and I look forward to seeing it all painted! Best of luck to you!

I remember that one it was unfortunately one I never bought, I am realy looking forward to seeing the finished piece.
I fixed my Prince Imrahil to his base to day and am in the last stages of his painting.
I just have to paint the victim he is charging down and that should be it.

Very nice....mine is coming along nicely....how do you get pictures in the message? I am having the same problem posting new stuff to CMON as well....back when I did it before I just uploaded the image...what is the deal?

When you post a reply, there is a button \"insert an image\".

The image needs to be on the internet somewhere. When you click the insert an image button, you type in the URL, or web address to where the image resides.

I would be willing to host a limited number of pictures for those folks that don\'t have a website of their own. PM me and I\'ll make arrangements.

At last :-

After much procrastination (on my part) and seaching through the mess that is my painting room the figures for Minimart have been \"Dettol\'d\" and were posted this lunchtime. :flip::flip::bouncy:

One thing though after having stood in the queue with all the \"Old Dears\" I have come to the conclusion that I could never in a month of Sundays work in a Post Office. The conversations ranged from \"Eastenders to Coronation Street, the state of Enid\'s Bunions, the price of peas, Mrs Carbody\'s operation and who was going where for Christmas\". All that in the space of 20 Mins. *Shudders* :eek:

After that it\'s a joy to get the relative (in)sanity of the forums. :D

Yay got my mini a few days ago it\'s a nice grenadier futur warrior street biker. With a nice amount of chest hair that would make austin power jalous (don\'t worry supervike I also know the name of the president ;)). Here\'s the befor picture, the base is going to be a road in bad shape, and I did do a very (tiny) small conversion to it :p By the way is there a site for the mini exchange I seem to recall reading that but since I\'v been busy I don\'t know what I missed.

seriously, very nice. painted frodo\'s horse and some of the widowmaker and have basecoated the bloodthirster

Ok not a problem. I\'m actually working on a Commissioned Christmas present so I can\'t rush off and paint anything else ATM.

The base is done! Also the mounted Prince Imrahil is done he could do with a bit of free hand work but as I am not good in that dept I dare not take the chance to ruin it.
I just need now to do the orc victim which I will start tomorrow and hopefully should have it mostly done buy tomorrow night.
I have started a rough sketch of what I intend to do with the Prince Imrahil on foot model which came in the same blister but I will not be able to start that one until next weekend as I need to wait for payday to get a couple of bits to base it with (4 weekly pay sucks).
I am hoping to get a pic up sometime tomorrow.

Well here it is at last the finished version of the mounted Prince Imrahil from the LOTR range from GW that was sent to me by Doughnut.

The pic is a bit small I know but if I make it any bigger I loose resolution. Hopefully by the time TJeffers gets the Mini Swap site up I will be able to get a better pic of this piece.
I shall start the foot version of the model at the weekend. For now though I hope you like this rendition of a classic LOTR character.

Wow, tidoco, that looks really fantastic! So fast too, I\'ve been bogged down with homework and such but I just got 4 weeks off of work :). Glad you liked the mini.
