Hi folks!
Been a day or so since I\'ve updated the list so I apologize if it seems that I was slacking off there, just had a few things in the works.
As of right now, we have 47 members participating and I expect that will go up a few before the closing date of April 15th.
I have gone ahead and removed those that have stated publically they didn\'t have the time, or those that haven\'t responded as of yet so that the list is cohesive and there are no mistakes. If anyone isn\'t on the list that should be, please point it out to me, and if there is someone that you know wants to be part of this but hasn\'t spoken up yet, get them to do so please.
I will try to accomodate everyones desire to send and receive. Everything is still going to be completely random, though those with specifications to ship within their own country will taken into affect, as will the one request to receive from abroad.
If you haven\'t got your miniature(s) selected as of yet, I would suggest going ahead and getting a few of them together that you don\'t mind sending out so that when you get your trading partner, you can send off the package quickly after tailoring it to he or she however you wish.
Again I\'ll stress, get your miniatures together and out as soon as possible as it is only fair that everyone has as much time with their miniature so that they have a chance to complete it.
Mistakes do happen, and packages get lost, but the best thing to do is to send off a PM to your trading partner the day that you send off the package so that they know its on its way and to expect it (on the off chance they have to go to the post office to pick up a missed package).
If for some reason you don\'t receive an exchange miniature, I and several others (thank you for the offers folks) will be more than happy to rush you a miniature so that you can participate.
Also, there are no limits on the type or how many miniatures you send, though all that is required is ONE to be sent. Don\'t be upset if you send out $50 worth of miniatures and get a $2 miniature in return. Send what you want, send within reason, and be certain that you are happy to part with it before you send it so that there are no hard feelings.
Also, ilynx2k4 and Vaolla have both offered to setup a website for the exchange miniatures as I honestly haven\'t had the time to do it and I believe TJeffers has been quite busy as well with his basement flooding and other life issues popping up. I have been informed that FAMP will be hosting the exchange pictures though Ilynx, if you would shoot me a PM or e-mail on anything you need, I\'ll be happy to accomodate. Thanks to both for the offers and the help.
That should be if for a bit now - I\'ll continue to update the list as needed and will kick this off on the 15th of April promptly.
