Leaving her holding what exactly, harsh language? A flashlight? Half a Torah scroll?

Maybe she\'s an amazon and that\'s her trophy :)
And Markus, I\'m sure that when you first bought this mini you already had in the back of your mind this convertion. It was just a matter of time :)

Hey ilynx2k4,

I seem to be having a problem with posting my ME1 picture. It doesn\'t want to save my initial info for the fig and then the picture it let\'s me load doesn\'t show in the ME1 gallery.

Little help, please.

 :D

I had the smae problem last night in the ME3 file:( I typed in the initial info and then saved it added the photo but nothing happened:mad:

In the end I found that if you type in the initial info then save then put your photo in with a comment for that photo then it should come up OK :D

Greenstuff - Do you have a supplier for the Wismerhill mini? Or are you suggesting TAB?
My local stores always have him arround. But if you prefer to go by an internet store, I am almost sure that Tracy nows of one that does Ilyad minis for the USA.

@Tim : Concerning the Krahn warriors, do you want both of them or just one of the 2 variations?

Here is the great figure I received from Day.

It is a Warhammer Valten Exalted of Sigmar. This guy has lots of detail and should be fun to paint.

I will be doing a diorama. I have tentatively selected a Thunderbolt Mountain Great Green Dragon as his worthy foe.

See my before pics here on FaMP

The hammer he wields sure looks magical to me, as does his armor, both necessary if he is to prevail against such a beast.

Thanks Day, I like your choice.

:D

THANK YOU JEROME!!!

Well, it was like Christmas in April when I opened my package from marineboy. Here are pictures of what I got.

I was out of town at a tennis tournament and these were waiting for me when I got home, and I have been selfishly holding on to them the past few days, so sorry Jerome for not letting you know I got \'em. Thanks a million; I will try to paint them very nicely:)

Here ^ above ^ is my progress so far on the Don Quixote model from a sculpter in Argentina,(http://www.gdcdreams.com.ar/).

Tracy said she\'d tried 4 times to establish something for Ilyad, and is trying again, but no luck yet. :(

@solaria2k : yes, but didn\'t she also mention at one time that Ilyad would be going by one distributer? It\'s that name that I can\'t remember.

In January 2004 I wrote and got this response :(
Hello
The miniatures are not sold in the USA, yet, but Ilyad games have plan to go
throught Atlantic Ocean for 2005.

Best Regards
Nicolas Benoist
Asmodée Editions

So I have indeed bothered him again I think this may be like my third time
Hi Nicolas,
I am writing to you again in hopes that your minis are coming soon to the USA. I am a painter and have many friends here that would love to be able to enjoy your miniatures. I have been asked to approach you again to see if you have plans of distribution.
I volunteer if you need any local help in the process.

So cross our fingers and I will tell you what I hear back...

I spotted him stuck out in the corner of the photo I still have the game but was never into the plastic terminators that came with it I think Igave mine to a friend I hated them that much and painted up 4 squads of the early metal ones to use instead :D the early metal one I think were the best especially the auto cannon guys

I noticed he had one of the plastic GeneStealers as well.

I couldn\'t quite work out though what is in the two plastic bags.

Anybody?

Thats how it should work :D. Until you add a picture there is no gallery, so nothing will show up. The main view (showing who took part, the mini name and the general info about the mini) shows the latest picture added by that person. If o pictures have been added yet, nothin will show up.

I hope this makes some sense!

Funny, mine are green plastic, except one replacement sprue GW sent me (back when they actually cared about customers) which is the off-white:

I guess they were just using whatever was cheapest that week :D

PS: everyone, don\'t ever bother buying these guys on eBay. Seriously, they may be old and rare, but they\'re also pretty crap minis (not to belittle Jerome\'s generous gift!).

I remember seeing them in green but not sure if I had any in that colour as for the quality well it was a long time ago these were brought out for the origonal \"Rogue Trader\" I think (for the youngsters out there thats the origonal 40K rules):D

I reckon they are OK for spares and conversion bits these days though given how much plastics have come on.

@ilynx2k4

The first time I did the ME1 gallery entry, I copied and pasted the description from elsewhere but it wouldn\'t save. It then let me upload the picture but nothing showed in the ME1 gallery. I am assuming that is because the general info wouldn\'t save.

I tried again today, but actually typed in the general info instead of pasting. That worked and everything is now fine. Is there something about a copy and paste that it doesn\'t like, or was my good buddy Murphy just having fun with me?

Anyway, it is there now.

Thanks again for providing a place where we can all showcase our mini exchange figures.

Yea, the sculpts aren\'t too great, but then again, the Ford Model T isn\'t that that great of a car when it comes down to functioning (actually I have no idea lol, but since it was the first mass-produced car, I am assuming it isn\'t that great), but it is still very valuable and catches people\'s eyes.

Oh and as for the things in the bags, they are bits for bases and things like that.
