Nice work! How people manage to paint them within moments of getting their hands on them is beyond me.

That being said, I\'m eyeballing mine pretty heavily right now with some thoughts floating around the nogging. I did have a hell of an idea for me ME2 Lobster fella and the Bezerker fella that was sent to me in a one on one.
Captain Lysander (I know I killed that) has been getting a work over with the file to clean up and put together too.

FF I am glad to hear you will be using the berserker I sent. I thought he was really neat for an older sculpt.

I had posted these pics in the WIP thread but thought I would stick them here too.
I am hoping to get a real good go at this today and hopefully get it the best part finished as I have two more minis to paint, as well as make the base before the deadline.

and now.....wheres my minis? mom cleaned up everything and now i can find anything at all. isnt that odd? when its a mess i can find things fast and easy! but now that its clean....

Dig me...I mean it...I mean the Dwarf...I mean the mini...aw, f*%$ it, you know what I mean!
Here is the finished Dwarf I got from Peteh in all his glory. At least as much glory as I\'m capable of giving him.
His spear tip got bent, I tried to file it back, that didn\'t work so well. So what was once a Dwarf with a spear is now a Dwarf Cleric with a staff. And that \"thing\" on the end is intended to be an Onyx (or obsidian, or shiny coal, or something like that).
Gems are not yet my specialty.

It\'s been fun playing along though. And at this rate of posting, I should catch up to IPM sometime in 2036. lol

I still can\'t take pics very well...
...The camera is off in Greece somewhere at the mo,when she returns I\'ll try get some,then have to work out how to post em\' lol The Daemonhuntress is about half done now though.....I\'m having a mare with her hair lol

Although I fear, that by the time my package arrives, my schedule will be too busy to paint, I dont have a weekend off for a month, and am Hot and Heavy into getting our Martial Arts School up and running, then next month is a nightmare!
Just checked the mail... Not yet! maybe tomorrow!

I\'m still not sure if I\'m going to use metallics or something that I try to pass on as NMM lol
Just for fun, and to increase the number of pictures in this thread, here\'s my colour study for it:
This is actually one of the things that I enjoy the most about miniature painting: to do a sketch of the mini and to try different colour combinations on it in Photoshop.

Hi everyone. I\'ve been checking out coolminornot for about 6 months now for inspiration and things. I\'ve havent posted my own submission yet. (I dont know why).
And then I found this thread, and I\'ve got a few questions concerning the Miniature Exchange, because I think I may want to becoem involved for the next one.
Fisrt off, I think this is a great idea. Good job. Anyways...
1. How often do you guys hold these things?
2. Is everyone who is involved in this expected to be a really good painter? I\'d say I\'m fairly decent myself (maybe a 7-7.5 rating on CMON for my better stuff) I just wouldnt want to send my mini out, have it come back a masterpiece, and have someone dissapointed in what they got back.
3. Are there any restrictions on what kind of models are sent out, or what size they are?
4. Are there any age restrictions? I\'m only 16...
