im in a painting slump. everything i do teh sucks!
so...it may be a while until i get it the way i want.
and i think my brushes are dying. i think my dad is stealing them for applying alchohol to his shells so they shine. but he abuses them! grrrrr. i need a new ones.

Here is the latest wip of the Ilyad Orc it is all but done apart from the base which as you can see I have just started. Hopefully it will be done by the end Monday.

Anatora - for her VERY generous gift of Warzone minis. She sent me a box of beautiful stuff, and I am planning on doing this guy as part of ME3 -

and Marineboy, for sending me the Tsunami boxed set from creafigs. I\'m planning on doing this guy for ME3, because I haven\'t done a historical mini yet.

Jerome, I\'m assembling your package now. Hopefully It will be complete by next weekend. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

@tidoco2222 - That is amazing. It inspires me... to throw my brushes away and hang my head in shame for defiling lead with paint. lol Just kidding, you just keep on raising the bar

Edit: I\'m also getting near finishing both pieces NSA sent me. RW sh... stuff has been keeping me away from the paints. They both just need to be based (someone should make a how-to guide just for basing).

Thanks guys it is the people of cmon that keep me trying just a little harder each time to a little better so far it is paying off. I realy like this mini and that also makes a big difference to how the finished article will look. The mini swap scheme is a great idea and I hope everyone is enjoying taking part as much as I have.

Just a quickie, as everyone keeps hitting me with \'when does it end\' and I\'ve seen it here a few times too, ME3 ends on JUNE 15th. It seemed everyone needed the extra time to get everything together so we went from 6 weeks to 8 weeks.

This seems like a good number as it allows us six a year, more or less, and keeps people from getting burned out while trying to paint up everything in between real life as well.

Great! I might be able to paint a little this weekend! As it is, I\'ve only been home long enough to sleep a little since I got back from vacation. ^_^ I\'ll try my hardest to at least get one of the three minis done by then. The conversion will probably be a WIP for a while.

I am still hoping for a mini from Frenchkid, no sign yet. I even built a new mailbox, because the other one was getting old, but that didn\'t seem to make the mini arrive. Still hopeful though.
