Miniature Exchange #38 [ ME38 ]

I finished off a few of the figs I got in exchange and wanted to show them off. The wood elf is going to be used as a Druid by one of my players. I cut off the spear heard and shield nub. The other was just for fun.

I just realised that I promised to explain just what weirdness I had given cucaio...
First was a veliciopede from Deadlands: The Great Rail Wars. I was into GRW the last time I was painting (ten-ish year back) and painted a lot of stuff for it. Unfortunately, people thought GRW was a railroad game, so it flopped. Railroad people saw the fantasy elements and weren't interested either.
I painted one veliciopede, and couldn't really see myself painting another - but it is a great piece, deserving of a home!
The other mini is a British (I think) officer from the Steam and Aether line of http://meridianminiatures.com/ - you should all check it out, not only is the stuff great, the International shipping rates are super and Andrew, who creates the minis and runs the store, is a really friendly and helpful fellow.
And last, a little treat in the form of Norwegian milk chocolate. Hope you enjoyed that.
