I thought about this, but he seemed genuinely interested in sending me his mini. I told him no, that he should send it to Kittykat, and should do it as soon as possible.

Anyway, it\'s always a bit rude when you get involved in something and fail to at least give an explanation to other people of what\'s going on.
Especially on these exchanges, when everyone is depending on another person to do what they\'re supposed to do.

Just recieved a very nice bear from Naukhel which will be painted as a Panda in a little diorama. It was not an exchange, but he said I should imagine it\'s part of ME4, so I\'m just gonna do this. I hope I\'ll be able to post some WIP pics soon (or even some of the finished piece).

WOW Xmas has come early

Just got home after a week away at work not only did I win a class at the Hereseycon Boyz with Balz I also had two parcels waiting for me, 1 from Bevan (Paintingploddy) and 1 from Mark.

I now have a months leave and it looks like I will be spending it painting all these figures I will post pictures a little later or over the weekend of what I have recieved

Not sure about the next mini exchange I still haven\'t completed my project from number three just about half way through so hopefully very soon I will put up a WIP of what it looks like so far if I can find the thread again it seems that long ago now

Thanks for helping out, It\'s getting to be I don\'t know whether I\'m coming or going (to the post office, that is). Just received confirmation that Martyn, Jerome, and Aurthur received their packages, which is great, but I got one I have to assume was from Starfell. There wasn\'t any note, and the return address/name doesn\'t match their\'s, so I\'m not sure. I don\'t know where he is from, but the package was from Germany (I think) because it says Deutsche post.

You have NO IDEA how funny that is in English... lol

I\'ll post some pics of my newest goodies later, right now I\'m actually going to get some of that painting stuff done that I always here everyone talking about.

@Wargriffon - Just post pics of your #3 mini in here, that\'s what I plan to do. After all, this IS an on-going project.

I got 2 circa Rogue Trader Chaos Marines and one of the Judge Dredd figs.

@ Everyone:

For future reference: If you ship your minis to your exchange buddy as a \'gift\', they give you a tracking number, so you can monitor its progress. This also removes any need the receiver might have to pay any border-crossing taxes, so long as the value is declared at $75 or less.

This may vary from nation to nation, but you can confirm your local amount of exemption at your post office.

You also shouldn\'t insure it, some countries can charge tax on the amount the item was insured for.

@Naukel - Was Starfell in Germany? I\'m still trying to confirm whether the package I got was from him.

Joking aside I have never liked them a great deal so far I have two mounted ones to paint but I find it difficult to keep interest in them does anybody else have the same problem?

Having said that though I did like the Dwarf Kings and the boxed set of Balin and his guard which I bought but haven\'t got around to opening yet let alone thinking of painting

Yes, Starfall\'s in Germany.
Technically, the mini I sent that way wasn\'t part of ME4, but one that he\'d said could be used for his project, so I sent it over. I wasn\'t likely to use it anytime soon.

ralfmetal kindly agreed to send me a couple of figs anyway after I got back and PMed him, they arrived yesterday. So I have my first Rackham and Dark Age minis :bouncy: thanks Tom!

TML\'s haven\'t arrived yet. Starfall\'s figs should have been mailed yesterday but I wanted to double-check where the line breaks in the address were, just to be on the safe side.

The Dark Age fig from ralfmetal was the Skarrd Hoodoo, which I\'ve cleaned up, glued, filled and based; will prime in a few minutes. I\'m thinking of doing a bit of conversion work on the Rackham one, just an excuse to try out my new Apoxie Sculpt and Kneadatite more than anything
