@Starfall: he snapped at the waist even though he was pinned quite heavily. It pulled up a fair amount of the paint around his belt as well as chipping on some of the extremities.

I\'m proud of it, probably one of my best works :)
Thanks again to Cédric, hope he likes it :)

I have also added some tips to the descriptions but if you have some other questions I will be more than happy to answer.

Congratulations also to the other painters... I was a little quiet in the last days because I was trying to finish this miniature in time but I have seen all the pictures and I have to say that everyone is painting at his/her best level.

Dragonpaint, you are insane to paint such a giant, but the paint job is awsome. A \"great\" piece indeed. The idea with the printed \"oil paintings\" is also cool. Congratulations, impressive in size and execution.

I guess this is not a metal miniature, is it? I\'m sure polished metal would look quite realistic on a big one like this.

@Tidoco - good choice, I\'m sure your painting style fit very well with this miniature!

@Starfall - this one is a resin miniature, I have painted all the metal using Vallejo metallics.
Then I have used Tamiya Smoke and Vallejo smoke to shade the steel parts and W&N brown ink for the gold parts.

Seems I have to ask a percentages on the sales of this miniature ;)

I think you can order it from Gamers-Quest in England:

This is the official web page:

Ah, I thought so. In my opinion polished metal looks the better the bigger the miniature is, but those real big ones are most times resin \"minis\" (exceptions: Heresy and Assassin). Perhaps I\'m gonna try it on a 54mm one.

@Peteh, Figure looks great, good blending on the skin variation.

@Dragonpaint, that is amazing, I went bug eyed  looking at that. You should be proud of it.

Well here\'s my ME4 figure from Rex_Lyver

It is from the McFarlane dragon collection. It is the Komodo Clan Dragon.

He stands perched atop a tower roaring down at those below.

The tower terrain is not complete. When it is, I will auction the tower and dragon to the benefit of Hurricane Katrina\'s unfortunate victims.

I have also posted this mini at Komodo Daragon please vote and comment.

Now I hold my breath waiting for ME #5.

Thanks folks...

John
