Miniature Horror stories..it aint going to be pretty

Last Recruits Con ( a local Con in Kansas City) I brought a few of my prized miniatures in for the painting competition. I had to stop at the local store where I had them on display to pick them up and I didnt have anything to transport them but a long flat box top.
I loaded about 5 of the miniatures into the box top and headed off to the Con.
One of the miniatures took first place so I was real happy about that. I loaded that one in my car by itself and went to get the other 4. As I walked up the stairs with the box top, I tripped a little bit and the box top spilled over. Three of the four other miniatures literally \"BOUNCED\" down the flight of stairs, bending every sword, arm, and any other dappendage almost in half before hitting the very bottom and exploding into a milion peices.
I have disgustedly since thrown all three in the trash. Luckily the winner went for a different ride and missed the mishap, but I figure I lost around 2 1/2 months worth of my time in the trash on potential award winnig minis

Haha, Marion is more than a match for Ring-girl. Hell, she probably saved my life once by talking down a gang banger who was going to beat me up at the subway station in Toronto.

Sorry, I forget not everyone here is completely up on moronic North American slang. Anyway he was likely more of a wannabe gang banger, but still scary and possibly armed.

I think she was thinking of the second definition when you type gangbanger into google:
One who participates in a gangbang.

Gangbang defined as intercorse, often rape, by multiple people.

Nice of her to talk one down from you then.

Don\'t know if it was the spray or if I did something wrongly I\'ve never had trouble with spray varnish before. I\'m going to try again on another figure later.

You DID do the correct thing and use that for realistic blood splatter on the mini, right?lol
