Miniature Mentor

I am almost tempted to start my own painting video company. If anyone wants in let me know. I have spent the past three years of school learning out to edit and make videos interesting, Graphic Design major, all I need to do is contact some painters and I am good to go.

The Privateer press video is extremely basic, mostly for gamers, not competition quality painters. There are a few video tutorials out there, but most just cover the basics. MM and the new video from Jeremie Bonamant seem to be the only ones for painters.

jeremie\'s dvd will be the one to have out of all of these.

miniature mentor is a good idea but doesn\'t go indepth enough for advanced painters (it just gives the basics of what a lot of people already know)

Have you seen the PP one? I\'d be interested to see it if they cover the 2 brush blending technique they talk about often on the forums (seen the YT vid but the quality isn\'t so great since it\'s at a con).

Yes they cover the 2 brush blending, since that is their trademark painting style. It\'s pretty decent, but again mostly aimed at gamers looking to paint their models quickly but still look good. It touches on beginner display quality painting, maybe like a 7-8 cmon rating, but that\'s it.
