Miniature shops in the Los Angeles area

Howdy everybody . . on vacation out here in the L.A. area this week.

Apart from Brookhurst are there eny other \"must-see\" hobby shops in town?

Have car will travel.

I\'m from San Diego originally (but in NYC now), so I know shops there, but not in LA. Have you considered trying to search yahoo? Could always call the shops before going to see what they might carry...

That may be a good idea . . . Went to Brookhurst this afternoon - holy mackeral - they have the most definitive selection of Confrontation I\'ve seen outside of Gencon.
Tons of I-kore too . . If anyone is looking for anything there I would try www.brookhurst.com

Another hundred spent . . . <sigh> a well stocked mini store will always get my money . . .

There is The Last Grenadier in Whittier, which is fairly large. Pegasus Hobbies is (I think) in Montclair. They just opened a big new store, but they are mainly geared to RC toys. The War House in Long Beach tends to has some harder to find dust-covered items. Still, size-wise Brookhurst carries the biggest selection.

Thanks Doc . . . I went to all but Pegasus and you were right on . . . Still, how bad could they have been if I\'m lighter by two hundred dollars??
